Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is the flagship programme of RKCSM which is being imparted since year 2000. It is a 2 years undergraduate professional degree which prepares students for work as a teacher in schools. It is a course offered for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching. The B.Ed. degree is mandatory for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary level.

At RKCSM, students are introduced to teaching by observing and interacting with small groups in first year. This will later expand to include patterns of classroom interaction, teacher-developed curriculum materials and whole school activities. The expectation is that by the final professional experience placement, a student teacher is fully competent to teach without close supervision.

Duration of B.Ed course: 2 years

Seats available: 100 (first come first serve basis)

Eligibility: Bachelors degree/ graduation in any stream/ subjects. Candidates appearing/appeared in qualifying examinations or awaiting results may also apply.

Admission Process in B.Ed:

	Steps	Tentative Month
1.	Registration for joint entrance exam (JEE) conducted by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. The registration is done on the website of the University which is appointed by the Govt. of U.P for conducting the JEE for a particular academic session.	February-March
2.	Appear in the entrance exam at the designated centre.	April
3.	Appear in the counseling session and collect your allotment letter.	May-June
4.	Take admission in the allotted college by depositing	June-July

For academic session 2020-22, the online registrations are going on from 12-Feb-20 to 11-Mar-20. The interested candidate can click here for online registration. The candidate is required to pay the entrance exam fee and counselling fee separately here.

The candidate can also register by clicking here by paying a total amount of Rs 4,500/- for seamless registration for entrance exam and booking his seat at RKCSM. The advantage through this process is that the student is allotted one admission counsellor and is saved from the hassles of making separate demand drafts at different point of times. The amount includes:

Entrance exam fee
Counseling fee of the University
Registration fee of the college*

* Upon successful admission in RKCSM, ‘Registration Fee of the college’ is fully adjustable in the total fee of a candidate for the academic session. In case, the candidate does not take admission in RKCSM, this registration fee is not refundable in any circumstances.
